The word hearty comes to mind when dining at Mojo’s Kitchen BBQ Pit and Blues Bar in Jacksonville Beach.

The “kitchen” offers to a lot of BBQ to like, all in hungry-size portions big enough to fill your belly with old-fashioned Southern cookin’.

Appetizers include chicken wings, pork quesadillas, catfish fingers and shrimp to name a few.

Among the entrees are BBQ favorites like pork, turkey, beef brisket, chicken, and of course ribs. The meats come in a sandwich or as a platter, along with side items like smoked corn, collard greens, beans and killer mac & cheese with enough variety even for a vegetarian to find a home.

Mojo’s is open for lunch and dinner for dining either in the main room or the bar. As the name suggests, Mojo’s does have live music on selected nights.
