With its cozy atmosphere Mediterranean decor, Mezza Luna offers fine Italian dining just steps from the beaches of Jacksonville. Chef Tony Pels trained under Wolfgang Puck and was the executive chef at the Augustine Grille at the Sawgrass Marriott in nearby Ponte Vedra Beach.
The menu features traditional Italian style dishes from wood-fired pizzas and pastas to steaks and seafood all with a Mediterranean flair. An extensive wine menu is a big hit, as is the bar. For dessert there's the tasty Tiramisu and Creme Brulee and much more.
Outdoor dining is also available. Prices are on the higher side. Mezza Luna is open Tuesday-Sunday at 5pm for dinner. Take-out is available and reservations are accepted.
