Former Ravens Super Bowl winning coach Brian Billick gives new Jacksonville Jaguar QB Blaine Gabbert high marks.
Calling him a “franchise quarterback” before the draft, Billick said Gabbert was the No. 1 QB on his board, ahead of Cam Newtown, Jake Locker and Andy Dalton.
Billick, who now works as an analyst on Fox and the NFL Network, says Blaine may have some inconsistencies mechanically but overall he’s a similar player to Matt Ryan and he’s got more throws to draw from than Newton.
